As in life, there may be problems or mishaps, our overarching mission is the principle of Fair Dealings for our Customers.

Warranty

The warranty covers this product for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited to what is defined as “normal use” of the product; examples of activities or uses that would void the warranty include: water damage, exceeding the weight and/or speed limits (check individual model specifications as weight and speed limits differ); impacts resulting from collision, dropping, or improper use.

If the product is dead-on-arrival, for domestic purchases, we will cover the shipping costs for returning it back to us. For other warranty related repairs, the Customer will need to cover the shipping charges to & from our repair centre. For International Customers, because of the high shipping costs for warranty related spare parts, you may need to cover these costs.

While the products are designed with water protection in mind, they are not intended to be ridden in heavy precipitation or standing water above 2 inches high.

Consumables such as tires and inner tubes are outside of the scope of the warranty. SEG-1.com stocks a wide variety of parts such as tyres, batteries, control boards, chargers, and other components.  We can repair or replace faulty parts that fall outside of the warranty at an additional charge.

Returns Policy

Purchases may be returned within 14 days of delivery.  In order to receive a refund, you must contact us at sales@SEG-1.com  to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number.  The Hoverboard or E-Scooter must be unopened, returned in its original packaging and condition.  A refund will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the returned item. The Buyer must pay the shipping & handling costs for both the outbound & return shipment. We do not accept returns on used products & there may be a 10% restocking fee on returned items, depending on the situation.

In the event that you receive a defective Hoverboard or E-Scooter, please contact sales@SEG-1.com Typically repairs can be carried out in a couple days. If it does take longer, we will send a replacement unit.

Parts

When parts are available in limited supply, we may reserve these for our Customers. Please be advised that if you are ordering a part that we are running low on, we may be forced to cancel the order if your Hoverboard/Scooter has been sourced from a third party. Having access to parts & accessories is one of the perks of being a SEG-1.com Customer. 

Shipping

We have worked hard to provide the most competitive shipping rates for our customers with DPD.  Delivery times vary depending on the destination address, but are typically within 2-5 days. On the day of dispatch you will be provided with a tracking number for your package. 

If you are importing an Hoverboard or E-Scooter into another country, you may be charged sales taxes & other handling fees by the courier. It is the Customer’s responsibility to pay these import duties.

Privacy Policy

SEG-1.com collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SEG-1.com purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SEG-1.com visitors use its website.

Gathering of Personally Identifying Information

Certain visitors to SEG-1.com websites choose to interact with SEG-1.com in ways that require SEG-1.com to gather personally identifying information. The amount and type of information that SEG-1.com gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.
